CargoApps Update: Enhancements for Planner, Order, and Fleet Management Module in June 2023

In our commitment to continuously improve and enhance user experience, we are thrilled to announce some exciting product updates for our Planner, Order Module, and Fleet Management features. These updates are designed to streamline your operations, boost productivity, and provide greater flexibility in managing your logistics. Let's dive into the details!

Planner Module

Avoid Countries Feature

The "Avoid Countries" functionality in our Planner feature allows you to exclude specific countries from your truck route planning. By avoiding certain countries, you can optimize your logistics operations, comply with regulations, and minimize potential challenges. It provides flexibility and control, enabling you to create more efficient and effective transportation routes.

You can find the "Avoid Countries" functionality on the left side of the Planner under Route options (as shown in the image below).

Drag Routes Multiple Times (similar to Google Maps)

The enhanced drag-and-drop functionality in our Planner feature allows you to create as many viapoints as you want along your route, similar to how you would on Google Maps.

To add a viapoint, simply click on the route and drag it to the desired location. Each time you drag the route, a new viapoint is created. 
To delete a viapoint, simply click on it with the left mouse button.

It's important to note that a viapoint is not added as a stop.  If you want to add a stop in between two viapoints, you can use the right mouse button and select "Add in-between." This will insert a stop at that specific location.

With this improvement,  now you can plan truck routes that are tailored to your specific needs with full flexibility and control. You can also easily adjust the order of the viapoints, add stops in between them, or remove unnecessary viapoints, ensuring that your logistics operations are optimized for efficiency and accuracy.

Default Additional Waiting Time Per Stop

We have introduced a global setting that allows you to add default waiting times to the additional stop data drawer. This is a preset duration added to each stop, accounting for tasks like loading and unloading. You can also change this time via additional stop details in the Planner.

This new feature, accessible in the main settings, provides greater customization and efficiency by eliminating the need for repetitive manual inputs.

Orders Module

Year Included in an auto-created Order Reference Number

To enhance sorting and organization within the Order Module, we have made a significant update to the reference number format. We now include the year in the reference number, which helps you quickly identify and categorize orders. For example, the new format is year/month/day/ DE 10117 - FR 75001. This change ensures smoother order management and simplifies the retrieval of historical data.

Fleet Management Module

Improved Driver Identification

We have made significant enhancements to the Fleet Management feature, particularly in identifying drivers within your fleet. To make it easier for you to recognize and manage your drivers, we have added labels displaying their names directly on the map. The fleet information appears as a popup when hovering over the driver name, enhancing the user experience.  When you click on a driver on the map, the system automatically shows your clicked driver on the left side menu, ensuring easier navigation and swift access to driver-specific information.

Reorder Assigned Orders

Furthermore, we now enable the reordering of assigned orders directly within the Fleet view through a simple drag-and-drop functionality. This enhancement simplifies the process of assigning and organizing orders
