What does SILO mean in Road Freight?

SILO is a type of vehicle or trailer used in road freight to convey bulk goods such as grain, cement, or coal. The term "silo" refers to the container's cylindrical shape, which is similar to that of a silo used for bulk material storage on a farm.

These trucks include a discharge system that allows the products to be unloaded fast and simply at the destination. They are frequently used to transport agricultural supplies, building materials, and industrial commodities.
