For Driver: Setup The DriverApp

The IMPARGO DriverApp is available for free on both Android and iOS:

• Download from Google Play Store
• Download from Apple App Store

After downloading the DriverApp, drivers should follow the in-app onboarding steps shown below.

Step 1: Initiate registration.
Select your preferred language, accept the terms & conditions, and enter your phone number.

Step 2: Register with company.
Verify your phone number. Then, enter your name and the company code provided by your dispatcher. Learn more

Step 3: Enable GPS tracking.
Allow the requested permissions to ensure proper functionality of the app, then you can begin using the DriverApp for navigation and real-time tracking.

For real-time location tracking to function properly, the following smartphone settings must be configured:

• Allow GPS and background location access
• Keep location services enabled at all times
• Disable battery optimization for the DriverApp

Drivers can adjust settings directly in the app. Here’s an example of how to set location access to “Always allow”:

Within the DriverApp, drivers can customize several settings to optimize their experience:

• Tracking: Enable location sharing with your dispatcher
• Language: Select your preferred language for the app
• Navigation: Choose a default navigation app (IMPARGO Navigation, Google Maps, etc.)
• Offline Maps: (Coming Soon) Download specific map regions for offline use
• Vehicle: (Coming Soon) Customize vehicle profile with truck-specific parameters
• Name: Set the display name shown to dispatchers
