Reschedule Orders On The Timeline

1. How Rescheduling Works

In the Dispatch Module, rescheduling means moving an order to a different time slot on the timeline. You do this by dragging the order card horizontally — left to move it earlier, right to move it later.

Whether you can reschedule an order directly on the timeline depends on whether Time Management is enabled for that order.

Key point: Rescheduling on the timeline requires Time Management to be enabled for the order. If it is off, a red indicator appears on the order card. You can enable it directly from there.

 


2. Rescheduling With Time Management Enabled

When Time Management is enabled for an order, you can move it to any time slot directly on the timeline without opening the order editor.

  • Click and hold the order card on the timeline
  • Drag it horizontally to the new time position
  • Release to place the order at the new time — the schedule updates immediately

 

This applies to both assigned orders (on a vehicle row) and unassigned orders (in the Unassigned Orders section).

An order card is dragged horizontally on the timeline to a new time position. The schedule updates immediately when the card is released. This works for both assigned and unassigned orders.

 

Example: A delivery window changes from 08:00–10:00 to 11:00–13:00. With Time Management on, drag the order card two hours to the right on the timeline. The update is immediate — no need to open the order or change any data manually.

 


3. Rescheduling Without Time Management

If Time Management is not enabled for an order, the order cannot be dragged to a new time slot directly. A red indicator appears on the order card to signal this.

You have two options:

Option 1 — Enable Time Management From The Order Card

  • Click the red indicator on the order card
  • Enable Time Management directly without leaving the Dispatch Module
  • Once enabled, drag the order to the new time position

 


Option 2 — Edit The Order Directly

  • Open the order using Edit Order from the order card menu
  • Modify the start time of the first stop
  • Save the order — its position on the timeline updates automatically

 

⚠ Note: If you need to frequently reschedule orders, consider enabling Time Management on those orders by default. This gives you full drag-and-drop control over timing directly in the Dispatch Module.

 


4. Order Card Actions

Each order card on the timeline provides quick access to key actions without leaving the Dispatch Module.

Open Order Details

Click the order card to open the full order details panel. Use this to review all order information, stops, and current status.


Open Order Menu

The order menu provides additional actions:

  • Edit order — open the order in edit mode to make data changes
  • Remove from vehicle — unassign the order and return it to the Unassigned Orders section
